Take the time to choose before asking. Big dmg and sustain mean nothing. Any class can have that. Look video, creat lv1 char, run tutorial intro and go to pvp to see all skill and try on golem. Right now, Warrior remans the easiest to use class. Thief isnt too far, but recieves harsh punishment. Well, they can all self heal. But it sounds like Guardian is what you want. Ele and Ranger is pretty good at self healing beyond skill 6, but they aren't as beefy. I'm assuming dungeon solo, not PvP/WvE/Open World. Rangers are usually a "middle of the pack" kind of class - they are rarely competitive enough for high end tournaments, but have a strong and constant presence in ranked PvP and WvW roaming. Great class for loners who prefer to play solo and do well. Play a ranger if: You like pets. You really like pets (Untamed). You don't like pets (Soulbeast). General Builds. Was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on best class for solo play. Yes I'm aware every class can play through the game solo but I'm talking solo champ/legendaries. I dont like having to wait on a group to complete something sometimes there just arent alot of people doing that specific event.
