I can report that they make my 2016 1290 SA a pleasure to ride at steady throttle positions, they almost eliminate all hunting and surging caused by the ridiculous too-lean default mixture setting. I notice no change in heat characteristics. I also installed a set in my mate's 1290GT and it also rides as smooth as silk now.
