For anyone else who may come across this, uninstall the bluetooth driver, DO NOT UNINSTALL AND IMMEDIATELY REINSTALL. Power down, remove the A/C plug, and then clear the cmos. Plug everything back in, turn back on the computer, and install the driver again. After a reboot, the bluetooth is functional again. Archived post.

May 7, 2022. #1. I recently built an i5 11400F desktop with the MSI B560M PRO VDH mobo (no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth) and then purchased the TP-Link Bluetooth 5.0 adaptor to pair my JBL headset. The device installs fine and the Bluetooth icon shows up in the system tray, but won't detect any Bluetooth devices. It keeps searching without any results.

It was working on 5 ghz before. Now if I try to connect, it connects but says no internet access. I can connect using 2.4 ghz just fine though.
