When upgrading to Windows 10, I shut off my WiFi (HP Laptop) The wifi switch is located on the keyboard itself. I plugged in the Ethernet cable so as no interruptions would occur during the upgrade. Once Installed Windows 10 Worked wonderfully. only when unplugged from Ethernet, theres no Wifi connection.
